WHAT'S NEW? Well, life has been crazy around here, but in a great way! My daughter is now almost a year old and since adapting to being a mother of two, I am finally mentally and physically ready to get back into my painting. Recently, I have been doing some residential work within the area and it has been fun to get out and be creative again! Of course the majority of the work that I have done has been children's rooms, but that is okay because they can be the most fun!
Looking to the future, I have accepted a part-time teaching
position at Cardinal Maida Academy in Vandergrift for the
next school year. I will be teaching art to K - 6 grades
and I am really looking forward to it. I am excited to
combine my two passions of art and teaching into one. My
hope is to allow the children to find their creative side
and to appreciate art as a way to express themselves and as
a way to learn about their society. Ultimately, I hope to
learn just as much as the students about myself and my own
creative expression.
In the meantime, I am still painting, decorating and looking
for ways to create! Call if you would like anything done!
